The International Association of Institutional Research (IAIR)

IAIR has been found to promote the ideas of Modern Institutional Economics. Its primary purpose is to facilitate communication between researchers who share the ideas and approaches of Institutional Economics. The IAIR provides a platform for knowledge and experience exchange. The IAIR coordinates joint efforts and initiatives to support research projects in the field of Institutional Economics.

We welcome dialogue between various theoretical positions within Modern Institutional Economics. Anyone with an active interest in New Institutional Economics, Original (“Old”) Institutional Economics or Evolutionary Economics will benefit from IAIR Membership.

The IAIR pursues the following objectives

    To facilitate research partnerships in the realm of New Institutional Economics;

    To promote knowledge transfer and provide a platform for open discussion and network building in the field of Institutional Economics;

    To attract top authors to the Journal of Institutional Studies;

    To organize research conferences, round-table discussions, workshops and meetings under the auspices of the International Association of Institutional Research;

    To establish and maintain good communication with social science research societies in Russia and abroad.
